use RADMIN to remote your PC

Sometimes we forget to copy a file or an e-mail to our notebook from our PC and we needed it for something really important. Now with internet, everything seems to be possible. We can use internet to access our PC in home or office and get the file we need. We also can finish our work in others PC by remote the PC using the internet. What we need just internet connection with public ip address in server PC and software to access the PC. Windows XP already have this feature that we call remote dekstop connection, but this feature only available in windows XP pro edition not in windows XP Home, and sometimes this software is not enough for our need. We can’t send or receive file using this software and many things we can’t do with remote dekstop connection. Some developers already build and sell some remote software like this, one of the software is RADMIN from FAMATECH. We can use RADMIN for almost all what we need, and this software have a fair price. It just cost us $49 / license , and if we buy it in volume we can get the software in cheaper price. You can try this free for 30 days. Just go to the website and download the trial. To control the remote PC you must instal RADMIN Server in the PC you want to remote. Just run rserv33.exe to instal RADMIN Server and follow the on-screen instructions. After instal, you can set RADMIN Server options by right click in RADMIN server tray icons and choose “settings for radmin server”. If the PC is behind a router, you must set a portforwarding in port 4899 to IP of the PC. You can ask your network manager or check your routers guide how to do the portforwarding. After that, make a note of the ip public in your PC/network. Now to control your PC from far away, you need to instal RADMIN viewer. Just run RADMIN viewer setup and follow the onscreen instruction. Run RADMIN Viewer, create a new connection and enter the IP public we have before, and after that just choose connection type we want. We can full remote the PC, only view the screen, file transfer or shutdown/reboot the PC.
